Issue Position

We must make Michigan schools, colleges and universities the best they can be, by restoring the deep cuts that Gov. Snyder and his allies made in K-12 and higher education budgets. School funds come from dedicated revenue, such as sales taxes, the lottery and property taxes, and this money shouldn't be diverted for other uses. Michigan needs the best educated, best trained workforce in the world, and Michigan legislators must stop fiddling with our future.
